　　中國(guó)留學(xué)生在聚餐時(shí)和西方人不一樣。在多人用餐時(shí)，西方人的習(xí)慣是把餐桌上所置的各盤(pán)食物輪流傳遞，用釵或勺取進(jìn)自己盤(pán)中食用。若自己的食物吃盡而欲取的食物又遠(yuǎn)在別人面前時(shí)，不能擅自拿取，應(yīng)請(qǐng)?jiān)撊税言摫P(pán)傳遞過(guò)來(lái)再取食。
　　在美國(guó)留學(xué)生活就餐時(shí)，若餐桌是長(zhǎng)方形，則餐桌面向門(mén)的一端屬于男主人的座位，另一端則是女主人的座位。自己應(yīng)在男女主人入座以后再行就座。
　　在進(jìn)餐中，若出現(xiàn)打噴嚏或咳嗽的一些情況，要及時(shí)使用餐巾將嘴鼻遮住，轉(zhuǎn)身而為，不可影響他人;若想要回話或說(shuō)話而口中食物未盡時(shí)，需咽畢再開(kāi)口;若欲如廁，不可說(shuō)“I want to toilet/washroom”之類的話，只需說(shuō)“Excuse me”即可。
　　在美國(guó)留學(xué)生活就餐喝湯時(shí)，應(yīng)將湯匙自湯碗內(nèi)壁靠近己身的一邊向?qū)呇由?，然后將湯舀起送入口中?/div>
　　在美國(guó)留學(xué)生活和他人一起就餐，若你愿意做東，應(yīng)事先告知他人，因?yàn)槲鞣饺说牧?xí)慣AA制，切不可搶著付錢(qián)，否則會(huì)讓人看笑話。另外，西方人沒(méi)有中國(guó)人有“受人一升，報(bào)以一斗”的感激心態(tài)，你請(qǐng)外國(guó)人吃飯，不要期望他會(huì)回請(qǐng)你。
　　在用餐完畢前，若刀釵暫停使用，應(yīng)以刀口朝內(nèi)，釵背朝上的方式放置，以示仍需使用，否則他人或服務(wù)員會(huì)誤認(rèn)為你已經(jīng)用餐完畢，而將你的餐具收走。
　　在美國(guó)留學(xué)生活就餐用餐完畢離席時(shí)，應(yīng)將座椅歸回原位。
