    任何一位既非公民又非定居者的人，要把一筆美金帶入或匯入美國支付學習費用的話，美國政府并不限制這類錢款的數(shù)額，但是，如果轉(zhuǎn)發(fā)（進出美國國境）的數(shù)額（現(xiàn)款或金融票據(jù)）達到或超過10，000美金，美國政府確實要求有關(guān)人（不論是公民、還是非公民）申報此事。有關(guān)這類事宜，可與美國駐本國國家的使館的有關(guān)人員商討。
    開立銀行帳戶抵達美國后，最優(yōu)先要做的事中有一項是在住處附近的一家銀行里開立一個銀行帳戶（bankaccount）。任何國際銀行都不可能在美國所有地方都設(shè)有代理機構(gòu)，但是，只要是有關(guān)銀行轉(zhuǎn)撥款項的事，銀行肯定能出主意。抵達校園后，如果找不到人在財務(wù)方面提供幫助，而獨自行事又不諸多不便，這時可以找外國學生咨詢顧問幫忙。
    附：美國的貨幣體制美金使用十進位制，交易的基本單元是美元（dollar）＄。1美元為100美分（cent）？？＄1．00＝100cents＝100C。

    美國所有面額的紙幣大小都一樣，都呈同一綠色，設(shè)計也都類似，所以，點鈔票的時候務(wù)必小心謹慎，不要把不同面額的鈔票混同，從而出現(xiàn)錯誤，比如把一張10美元面額的鈔票誤認為是1美元。
